I fucking hate this short.
This was my Hockomock Film Festival (formerly Easton Film Festival) entry for 2006, and it won 1st place in drama. Though they called this one "Chinese Characters". I seriously think it is probably among my worst pieces, so why do I still allow people to view it? Because they like it and think it's funny, and I am an attention whore.
I submitted this piece to Fuck the Back Row as well, a film festival that was put on by Michael Pope and the Dresden Dolls. While it didn't get in, Michael Pope came up to me at one of the Boston dates of the traveling showcase and told me how he liked this piece, and that it didn't get in primarily because it didn't fit the asthetic of the evening.
But still, what the fuck? Why do people like this damn thing?
